How difficult/expensive is it to travel between Krakow and Oswiecim (Auschwitz) ?

I'm planning a trip to Poland. I plan to fly into Warsaw and then take public transportation within Poland. Is there train service between Krakow and Oswiecim (Auschwitz)? What would that cost? How about bus service or taxi?

1. It isn't difficult at all- a majority of the tourists that go to Krakow also go to Auschwitz. There are bus services that leave and come back a couple times a day- at least that is how it worked when I was there 2002. It is about 30 minutes away (maybe a bit less) but I would plan a whole day for this. The bus service also takes you to Birkenau. You will not have a problem getting there- Enjoy- it is a very interesting and sad place- but well worth a visit.
2. Hi... :) I'm from Poland and I think, that that cost is very cheap, is widely available, frequent and in diffrent way ... :) Besides Poles like foreign visitors/tourists and I'm sure, that you will be very glad of the visit :):):)
